This website is a resource for activists coming to Durban to protest and make their voices heard. The people have been systematically shut out of key decisions and negotiations at previous COP’s, but successful actions have influenced, blocked, and exposed the process. This site is dedicated to non violent direct action, in the tradition of Gandhi’s Satygrahah and the history of struggle against oppression in South Africa.
Taking inspiration and influence from the Occupy Wall Street movement, the Arab Spring, and Climate Camp, whose tactics, politics and passion are an effective counter to the dominance of Multinational Corporations and colluding governments.
